A DAY WITH THE TRIO. AN INTERVIEW WITH LE GRACE.
By Sheree Ann Kratmann Indiongco
Welcome Spring!
As we welcome the spring season, we also open doors for new ideas, plan our projects, and set our goals for the year. As I celebrate my 10th year anniversary in Denmark (d. 9. 4. 2025), I recall the things that gives me motivation. It is to pursue the projects I have been curating in my mind. I realized that I can define my own success. Who I share my life with is the most important thing and who I celebrate my accomplishments with is another story. At the end of the day, you are your own best audience, you are the same person who says to yourself that you have done something beautiful today and the rest is history. As the African proverbs say -If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
Some things never get old.

Side A and B. Up to 150-minutes worth of your favorite songs.
– Cassette Tape
It was that song you played more than a 100 times on YouTube or from your Spotify account. It was actually the only music in your playlist. Or probably from that cassette tape you had in the 90’s, where you recorded the song from the radio. It played continuously for an hour. Epic. Just one song. And you say that the original version is better than the cover sung by another artist. Was it really the voice of the artist in the song, the melody, the lyrics or something else?
Anette finds joy in nature; she loves the sounds of hummingbirds, flowing water, and the gentle breeze. The melodies always come easily to her, for which she is very grateful.

My Life in a song. An interview with Le Grace
Having the opportunity to connect with people is a gift I would not take for granted. The truth about building relationships is something we can thank ourselves for. I had the pleasure of having Anette Lee Karup (also known as Le Grace), who is a singer, composer and songwriter, whose songs are inspired by her love for music and by having a free and playful personality. Her song Crazy in love has been played on the Danish radio (DR LYD).
Some of her famous songs are Crazy in Love, Heartbeat, Colorado, and Summer Night. She discovered her passion for writing songs for music at an early age. She pursued her education and career as a musician and a music teacher for children and young people. Today, she performs at cafés and different events all year round. Together with Michael Eigtved as the pianist and Jens Lauritzen on bass, they bring a lively atmosphere to their audience.
